Job Description:
The Electrical Bid Manager will have a strong focus on writing and developing technical content for bids and proposals. This role requires working closely with the bid team to produce written responses and presentation collateral under tight deadlines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing estimating approaches and strategies in collaboration with the Group Estimating Manager/Director
* Writing effective and concise content for tender returns
* Collaborating with estimating departments to produce accurate and comprehensive bids
* Managing standalone bids from start to finish, requiring excellent managerial skills
* Liaising with the Marketing team to ensure up-to-date documentation
* Designing compelling visual content and graphics
* Evolving estimating approaches and strategies as a thought leader
Requirements for this role include a 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying, experience in the M&E engineering industry, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
