Strategic Sourcing Specialist Permanent Full Time RoleCitywest, Dublin The Role:Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for all sourcing activity for our unlicensed medicines business in our pharmasource department. They will be responsible for analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategic initiatives to help the organization achieve its goals. This role requires expertise in procurement practices, supplier relationship management and negotiation. We are seeking a results-driven professional with strong commercial acumen to lead initiatives that enhance our competitive advantage and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market trends and demonstrate a sharp business insight.Key OutcomesDrive global drug shortages and exclusive access initiativesConduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in supply marketsSupport Business Unit targets, ensuring that targets are achieved each monthContinuously work to identify business development opportunities to contribute to growing the unlicensed business unit as well as the wider On Demand business through procurement excellenceBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure long-term partnershipsStrategic collaboration with external stakeholders, including cultivating MAH & KAM relationshipsWork closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to align sourcing initiatives with business needsIdentify risks, both within the portfolio and in the supply chain.
