Renumeration:€30,824 to €35,457 p.a. depending on relevant experience & qualifications*

We now have a new additional vacancy in our credit control team, based in High Street. You will work as part of the existing credit control team, implementing effective credit control decisions and plans under the guidance and direction of the Team Co-Ordinators and the Credit Control Manager.
The MSO (Credit Control) will assist in ensuring that credit control risks in the lending portfolio are identified and assessed; then managed and mitigated to an acceptable tolerance level as set out by the Board of Directors. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to expand their experience in a financial institution.
The contracted hours for this post are 35 hours per week:
Monday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Role Description:
This position will have a variety of duties including:
* Assisting the credit control team in assessing, developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the credit control processes and procedures in the credit union.
* Complying with the operational requirements of the credit control process.
* Promptly dealing with and responding to queries received from members with a courteous, pleasant and professional service as befitting HSSCU via post/phone/email/electronic system.
* Logging onto the Credit Control phone queue and dealing with queries daily.
* Recommending payment plans/amendments for approval in response to member requests for reduction in repayments.
* Taking reschedule applications from members.
* Any other duties that may be required.

Requirements
* The successful candidate will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements as set out in the Central Bank Guidelines for the sale of insurance products. (QFA/CUA(Loans)/APA in Loans/Pathways CU Diploma/ACCUP).
* The Credit Union will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain this qualification, if they do not have it currently.
* 1 to 2 years previous or similar experience would be an advantage.
* Good IT Skills.
* Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
