Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Engineering) - MedTech Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer with a background in electrical engineering to join our MedTech manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in developing and implementing maintenance procedures for equipment. This role involves writing granular-level procedures, reviewing maintenance practices, and making continuous improvements to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and document detailed maintenance procedures for electrical equipment specific to the MedTech manufacturing environment.
* Conduct thorough reviews of existing maintenance practices and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement maintenance best practices.
* Perform regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
* Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules, and update procedures and schedules as needed.
* Provide training and support to maintenance personnel on maintenance procedures and best practices.
* Investigate equipment failures and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to maintenance and electrical engineering within the MedTech sector.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a MedTech manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
* Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise technical documents.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address maintenance issues.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of relevant safety and maintenance regulations and standards. Preferred Qualifications: · Certification in maintenance or related fields (e.g., CMRP, CPMM).
* Experience in conducting maintenance audits and inspections.
* Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Excellent communication and training skills.
