Role Summary
The Change Manager will report directly to the Head of Transformation and Change Management and be responsible for designing and executing a thoughtful change management strategy for assigned projects. As a member of the Transformation Office team, the Change Manager will support complex projects that align with our 10fortheWin strategy. This role requires initiative, an ability to advocate for change, and effective collaboration across all cross-functional teams to achieve project success.
This manager will focus on top company initiatives (restructurings, tech rollouts, process changes, etc.) and lead change management activities on various projects driving our growth ambitions. Responsibilities include:
* Creating change strategy plans
* Building program governance structures
* Articulating visions and expected project outcomes
* Identifying and analyzing stakeholders
* Assessing impact
* Developing communication strategies
* Completing training needs assessments
* Executing preparation activities and feedback loops
This manager will utilize and contribute to Circle K's change management methodology, ensuring minimal disruption to normal business operations due to these programs.
The manager will serve as a trusted advisor to VPs and SVPs, promoting leadership principles and effective communication approaches. Responsibilities include managing strategy leadership communications, identifying stakeholder management action plans, supporting employee satisfaction results, and more.
This team member will contribute to our internal Transformation Office, acting as a change agent to implement and manage best practices and methodology across our organization. Responsibilities include providing mentorship, building and sharing tools and templates, and hosting occasional learning sessions.
Primary Responsibilities and Activities
* Collaborating with management teams and ensuring effective information sharing
* Partnering with project managers to assess the impact of change on stakeholders, scheduling change activities, and managing project communications
* Oversight of organizational Change Management activities, including:
o Change analysis
o Change management plan development
o Strategy and solution development
o Change impact management/risk analysis
o Understanding current state and identifying impacts to people, processes, and technology resulting from change
o Developing strategies and plans to drive end-user adoption for technology-driven projects
o Measuring adoption, usage, and proficiency of initiatives
o Managing revisions, updates, and the effects/impact of change downstream
o Creating a communication strategy and detailed communication plan to execute this strategy
* Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing leadership and customer expectations; great executive presence; effective influencing and negotiating skills; significant knowledge of project communication planning with a solid track record of practical application
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience designing and executing change management plans
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience working with senior leaders on major change initiatives with significant visibility
Experience defining and executing adoption measurement strategy
Ability to influence and think strategically and tactically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Change Management certification is preferred
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
