KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage multi-disciplined processing teams and follow up on their work results
Collate and report KPI’s relevant to the operations function
Plan work and labour requirements in tandem with the management
Analyse data and improve processes
Support and guide team leaders
Create new processing standards adhering to existing standards
Review team and individual performance identifying any training needs to HR
Coach and mentor the teams
Lead training programs in line with new technologies
Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed
Maintain quality standards and procedures
Work with the management to introduce new equipment, operational systems and procedures targeted at improving efficiency and reducing waste
Promote change and continual improvement
Maintain the physical condition, tidiness, and environment of the warehouse
Maintain individual results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results and achievements
Support other areas of the business beyond their own department as and when needed
Any other ad hoc duties required

You Have:
Proven experience in a fast-paced management or leadership role
Experience within a production and or manufacturing environment
Relevant degree or certification is desirable but not necessary
Experience using a warehouse management system is an advantage
Experience implementing and overseeing security operations
Experience with managing inventory levels, stock counting and managing audits
Ability to analyse and solve problems as they arise
Proven experience managing operations functions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
Ability to challenge and correct inappropriate behaviour
Experience implementing operational policies and procedures
Proficient computer skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work overtime if required
Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required
Comfortable delivering and receiving frequent feedback
