We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join a prestigious law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle reception duties, including answering calls and managing client communication
2. Provide diary management and arrange client appointments
3. Offer administrative support to solicitors across a range of legal matters
4. Perform photocopying, filing, and scanning of incoming documents and correspondence
5. Assist with managing high-volume property files, ensuring they are well-organised and up to date
6. Utilise the Keyhouse case management system for effective case tracking and workflow management
7. Coordinate daily postal and DX correspondence, ensuring all documents are processed in a timely manner
8. Manage financial account ledgers and balances, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant.
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum one year experience in a similar legal secretary role is essential
2. Experience handling property, family and probate files.
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
6. On site 5 days a week
7. Familiarity with the Keyhouse case management system is an advantage
8. Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively
