Medical Device Equipment Automation Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to collaborate with our innovative, cross-functional team in creating automated equipment solutions. This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to expand skills in designing, developing, and commissioning cutting-edge machine control systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and integrate sophisticated control software for automated machinery, including PLCs, robotics, motion control, HMI, SCADA, and vision systems.
* Lead the development, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support of machine control applications.
* Design equipment that meets CE, electrical, machinery safety, and client-specific standards.
* Produce and analyze design and validation documents required in regulated sectors (e.g., URS, FDS, FAT).
* Specify essential components for control systems.
* Work collaboratively within a diverse project team across all project stages.
Desired Experience and Skills
* Hands-on experience with PLCs and HMIs, with a preference for familiarity with Allen Bradley systems.
* Solid background in automated machine design, including the creation of technical specifications and development.
* Proven ability to prepare detailed technical documentation.
* Additional expertise in robotics, motion control, machine vision, or pneumatics is a plus.
