Title Tax ManagerReports To Head of TaxContract duration PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a multinational construction company. We are seeking an individual to join our tax team to focus mainly on corporation tax and ensure compliance for the Group in Ireland and across several jurisdictions in which we operate. This role will be responsible for managing the corporate tax compliance, planning, and risk management activities across the organisation, ensuring alignment with both domestic and international tax laws. With annual turnover exceeding c€2.5 billion and being the largest privately owned company in Ireland, Sisk continues to strive for building excellence more than 150 years on.Key ResponsibilitiesReview of corporation tax calculations and returns for all entities in the Group which will include Pillar Two going forwardEnsure preliminary corporation tax payments and balances of tax are paid on time for all entities within the GroupTransfer Pricing and Inter-Company Pricing assistanceLiaise with our external tax advisors, auditors, Irish Revenue, HMRC, other foreign tax authorities and regulatory bodies when requiredControl and assist with Tax Planning and BudgetingProvide tax support and due diligence on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.Partner with project managers, legal, and operations teams on tax implications of large-scale contracts and international operations.Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the GroupEnsure effectiveness, accuracy, implementation and adherence to the Sisk Group’s Internal Control and Risk Management PolicyStreamlining of tax processes/controlsMinimum RequirementsCTA qualifiedACA/ACCA qualified accountantMinimum of 2 years of post-qualification experienceAdvanced knowledge of ExcelMotivated and enthusiastic personality, with a ‘hands-on’ attitudeExcellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in person and by telephoneAbility to prioritise tasks and work independentlyAbility to pay close attention to detailStrong interpretive and analysis skillsAbility to standardise processes, and suggest improvements to sameConstruction sector experience would be considered an advantageOur people are at the heart of our success and our proposition to them is work with purpose, have time for life, build a career with no limits and surround yourself with great people.Our Internal Recruitment Team fulfil all vacancies on a direct basis.
