About the Role
We continue to expand our services to meet the needs of those we care for, and we have opportunities within our Orchard Community Care division in County Longford. This key role is Person in Charge.
Purpose of the Role
The Person in Charge will provide high standards of support to those who use our services and ensure the service aligns with Government and Health Service Executive (HSE) Policy.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as Person in Charge for existing services ensuring compliance with Department of Health Regulations and HIQA Standards.
* Work autonomously and with initiative.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of young people and staff by working flexible hours and leading/participating in the On-Call support system.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
* A relevant degree (minimum level 7) in Social or Health Care and a Level 6 Management qualification.
* A proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality, regulatory/legislative requirements.
* A full current driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland and access to a vehicle.
