We are looking for an experienced Accommodation Manager to join the team of our client, a 4-star hotel in Limerick .Previous experience in an accommodation management role in a busy hotel is a must
Some of the duties of the role will be:
1. You will be responsible for overseeing all Housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience
2. Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
3. Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team
4. Rostering in line with budgets
5. Staff training and development and evaluate employee performance
6. Attend HOD meetings
7. Work in conjunction with other departments of the hotel to ensure your department runs smoothly
8. Responsibility for purchase, storage, inventory and control of all housekeeping related items.
9. Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
The Ideal Candidate:
10. Previous experience as an Accommodation Manager or Assistant in a high end, high volume 4/5* Hotel
11. Excellent communication and organisational skills
12. An excellent team leader who can lead by example and motivate their staff
13. Very standards driven when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene
14. Can work in Ireland fulltime with no restrictions
15. Excellent command of English both oral and written
