The Credit Control Administrator will work as part of the credit control team and report directly to the Credit Control Manger.
Key responsibilities of the role will be to: Support the wider Credit Control team with the daily tasks including the daily creation, validation, and remittance of banking files for our ROI & NI businesses.
Responsible for maintenance and updating of retailer databases including new store set-up across multiple applications including Solar, Oracle, SCM and MPH.
Uploading of the daily sales files and weekly reconciliation of sales files.
Weekly reconciliation of AR ledger and control accounts to indicate the operation of proper controls within the department and submission of quarterly reconciliation templates to financial controller.
Providing accounts receivable data upon request from various stakeholders (Retailers, Retail Accountants, SuperValu and Centra Sales Teams etc.).
Supporting the Credit Control Manager in the governance of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland financial risk exposure from its existing and new retailer debt profile.
Supporting the wider Credit Control and IT Teams in the development, testing and roll-out of new platforms to deliver our strategy of easier to do business with.
The successful candidates will possess the following: 3 yrs+ experience in Credit Control role.
A strong systems orientation, be highly numeric & technical with strong attention to detail.
Strong Excel skills an advantage.
Have proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a varied workload.
Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with an ability to build relationships across functions.
