Operational Resilience Analyst, Prudential International Assurance
This role is based in Dublin - you must be a resident of the Republic of Ireland to apply and have the right to work in ROI already in place.

Reporting to the PIA Head of Operational Resilience, you'll support the business in embedding all aspects of Operational Resilience into their day-to-day activities. You'll support the Accountable Executive - the Chief Commercial Operating Officer - in discharging their responsibilities, including: business continuity planning; the identification and maintenance of Important Business Services; regular assessment of Impact Tolerances; delivering scenario testing & driving remediation of any identified vulnerabilities.
You will work closely with other key stakeholders within PIA and wider M&G to ensure a 'joined up approach' to resilience oversight and effectiveness including teams covering all pillars of Operational Resilience (third party, data, technology, people and facilities). You will also need to work alongside PIA Risk and the Group Operational Resilience department.
Through rigorous testing, you will need to analyse and identify any potential resilience vulnerabilities or risks to PIA's Important Business Services, report and propose improvements to ensure tolerances can be maintained, especially during disruption events.
During any disruption, you will be required to support crisis management activities, feeding into the broader PIA incident management framework, and keep Senior Management informed throughout, taking actions to ensure continuous improvement post any lessons learned activity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the embedding of the Operational Resilience framework within the business to help drive the future resilience agenda.
* Act as a first point of contact, supporting the PIA Head of Operational Resilience, and resilience SME for PIA, providing resilience and continuity advice to deliver a robust Operational Resilience framework, owned and operated by the business.
* Support the business in completing the annual review of their Business Continuity Plans, including refreshing the Business Impact Analysis (BIA), identifying the resources (third party, data, technology, people and facilities) that they depend on to deliver their critical processes and assessing the viability of their contingency solutions to deal with severe but plausible scenarios.
* Support the activities to identify and maintain PIA's Important Business Services (IB Services), including completing Service Impact Analysis (SIA) and setting Impact Tolerances.
* Support with testing of Business Continuity Plans and the scenario testing of IB Services, including preparation of scenarios, conducting testing, identifying and recording vulnerabilities that require remediation.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* Strong awareness of, and interest in, the Operational Resilience regulation from a CBI perspective and the step-up from traditional Business Continuity practices.
* Evidenceable and demonstrable strong past experience in an Operational Resilience based role within financial services.
* Ability to articulate key principles of Resilience disciplines including third party resilience and business continuity.
* Good stakeholder management skills including building strong and effective relationships and confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
* Experienced in process analysis, improvement, change management and governance.
* Experienced in designing and executing Business Continuity and Important Business Service Scenario testing.
* Experienced with Resilience Risk identification, assessment and remediation planning.
* Comfortable with meeting preparation and facilitation to a range of stakeholders who you will engage with.
* A proactive mindset and the ability to use initiative to drive assigned tasks forward.
* The ability to handle and absorb business change and apply a resilience lens to identify risks and issues.
* Comfortable with hybrid working practices.
