Job Description:
Post Summary: This is a health economics research position in Trinity’s School of Medicine. The successful candidate will work on economic evaluation in advanced cancer, both conducting an evaluation as part of an international trial in cancer (EU Navigate) and exploring related conceptual and methodological issues. The post offers experience and responsibility in multiple key aspects of applied health economics: processing and analysing trial data, devising and applying a decision model, refining and conducting simulation studies, lead authorship of papers and reports, and presenting results to diverse stakeholder audiences. Applications are encouraged from those with experience in health economic evaluation or a closely related quantitative field (e.g. health services research, statistics, economics and econometrics). We aim to appoint at the post-doctoral level but those with a relevant MSc and substantial relevant experience will also be considered. The successful candidate will work with Professor Andrew Davies (local PI for Ireland as a clinical site, and Prof Consultant of Palliative Medicine) and Dr Peter May (WP lead, Adjunct Associate Professor in Trinity and Senior Lecturer in King’s College London).
Application Procedure: All applications should be made via the 'Apply now' button. Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
