Engineering Project Manager - Electrical Switchgear
Our clients, a multinational engineering firm, are looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Project Manager.
The Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of low to medium-size service projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project. The work model for the role is hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Creating project HSE Plans and ensuring that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub-suppliers.
* Establishing the project execution approach and leading the planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
* Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
* Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks, ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
* Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
* Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
The Person:
* Strong experience with electrical switchgear, working as a Project Manager.
* Demonstrated experience in the management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
* Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
* Management experience in project execution, with strong, well-developed communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
