Role Title: Group Director of Rooms Revenue and Distribution Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer Dalata Hotel Group plc is Irelands largest hotel operator, with a current portfolio of 56 hotels with over 12,000 rooms and a pipeline of circa 800 rooms. Dalata successfully operate Irelands two largest hotel brands, the Clayton and the Maldron Hotels across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, as well as managing a small portfolio of partner hotels. Dalata Hotel Group plc is recruiting for a Group Director of Rooms Revenue and Distribution, to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the Group Rooms Revenue function, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The rolewill be responsible for leading the Group Revenue team in delivering the rooms revenue strategy in our hotels, managing the distribution landscape, keeping pace with technological and process developments while ensuring all revenue management systems and tools are effective for the Group. The role will be full time, permanent and based in our Group Offices in either Dublin or Manchester, with a requirement to work from our Group Offices in Dublin at least two days per week. Planned travel will also be required as part of this role. Responsibilities: Ensure that Dalata is utilising its scale, human resources and systems infrastructure in delivering market leading rooms revenue performance. Ensure the Rooms Revenue team structure is appropriate at points in time given the evolution of the size of the Group and the technology at its disposal. Develop and manage the senior members of the Rooms Revenue Department. With the Rooms Revenue Management Project Specialist, ensure successful delivery of the Duetto roll outproject. As a member of the Hotel Performance Committee (HPC), help drive the overall performance of the hotel portfolio. Ensure that the Central Office Rooms Revenue team support hotelroom revenue strategies. Ensure that the Group appropriately responds to the distribution landscape incorporating OTA, GDS, Book Direct and other channels. Provideinformation and insight to support the Finance function in themanagement of commission costs. Ensure that the Rooms Revenue team support the Marketing Department in designing and improving the customer journey. Lead the hotel competitive set analysis to ensure that each hotel understands and uses this analysis to make informed decisions. To seek, lead and support the Group Revenue team on projects relating to various innovation projects. Ensure the coaching, development and training of senior stakeholders in the business is appropriate to deliver a strong pipeline of revenue managers for growth. Communicates effectivelywith the Group Revenue team, Hotel teams, Central Office team members and the Executive Management team.
