Job Description
A Manufacturing Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based medical device client.The successful candidate will join a leading high volume contract medical device / electronics manufacturing team. This is a permanent role. THE ROLE
1. Monitor machine performance in real time to maximise production output
2. Specify, install and support production equipment
3. Support ongoing PM activities & techniques to minimise m/c downtime and maximize Yield performance
4. Support Line reconfiguration and machine moves
5. Provide Technical reports on process issues
6. Provide DFM input on New Product Developments as required.
7. Carry out Process Capability analyses & identify appropriate corrective actions
8. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
9. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
10. Completion of in house training programme
11. Understand, Use and improve in house Procedures
12. Improved line yields and overall quality of products
13. Meeting line targets and Project Timelines
REQUIREMENTS
14. NFQ Level 8 Degree/ in Engineering or lower level degree with suitable work experience (Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial)
15. Experience in Regulated High Volume Manufacturing Environment
16. Excellent equipment knowledge and process debug troubleshoot skills
17. Good communication and influencing skills
18. A compliance mindset and a high level of attention to detail in following procedures and completing documentation
19. Lean practice implementation
20. Experience in Automation: Robotics/PLCs/Pneumatics etc
21. Understanding of Process Capability.
22. Understanding of MSA (Measurement System Analysis) & GR&R (Gauge Repeat & Reduction)
