The role The Senior Press Officer will be responsible for the press office with on-call 24/7 duties to be shared with the communications team.
They will also be responsible for improving internal and external communications, and for generating positive media coverage.
He/she will also be responsible for developing improved communication channels and providing quality information to key internal & external stakeholders.
He/she will work across the Communications teams in the implementation of agreed projects.

The person Candidates must on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office:
• An appropriate 3rd level qualification (at least Quality & Qualifications Ireland Leve 8 or equivalent)
• Significant experience in a senior communications role in a large complex environment, encompassing some or all of the following; media relations, corporate communications, public affairs both local and National, public relations, public information campaigns or digital media.
• Experience working in a press office or similar fast-paced media led environment.
• Proven track record of engaging effectively with a range of audiences, and managing a broad cross section of internal clients and competing demands.
