If you have a flair for delivering exceptional customer service and are eager to work in a hybrid environment, read on! Starting hourly rate is between €15.71 to €18.57 based on shift patterns.
As a Customer Service Consultant in our telephone-based Customer Service team, you'll find out exactly what our customers' needs are by listening and building relationships. We are available for our customers 7 days a week, so we need our teams to be as well. You will be working 35 hours per week with some evening and weekend work. Your shift will be set so you'll know exactly when you'll be working each month.
You will be based in our Athlone office, but following training, when you really understand the role, there will be an opportunity to work in a hybrid system as well. Our initial training takes place on site, Monday-Friday daytimes for the first 4 weeks so you must be able to commit to this.
We want to kick start your career at AXA Partners as soon as possible, so successful candidates must be available to start with us no later than Tuesday 25th February 2025. Candidates not available in time for the target start date unfortunately will not be considered.

Responsibilities
* Delivering high quality Customer Service mainly in the areas of motor breakdowns and home emergencies.
* Provide relevant and accurate information to every customer on every call.
* Become an SME in your area, quickly learning about the assistance business and how we can help our customers and partners.
* Answer inbound calls and deliver a quality and timely service throughout.
* Updating internal systems and keeping accurate records for each customer.
* Keeping everyone updated on the progress of cases both internally and externally.
* Understanding and demonstrating the culture and values of AXA Partners in every interaction.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
* Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).
* Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
* Excellent written and oral English and communication skills.
* A proven ability to manage complex and sometimes difficult situations.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* To enjoy working within a team.
* The ability to get things done in line with our high quality standards.
* IT literacy is a must and an understanding of using standard software packages, including Word and Excel would also be useful.
