The individual will work together with the product, marketing, finance, sales, and sales support teams to execute pricing strategy. Key responsibilities:· Develop a standard global pricing framework based on company strategy· Develop pricing models, assess, and make pricing recommendations, based on competitive feedback, Win Loss analysis, market assessment insights, customer data and other sources, in line with company pricing policy· Prime delivery of a pricing configuration quotation tool to drive automation into pricing lifecycle process· Responsible for the governance & administration of the global pricing process, supporting pricing integrity (price accuracy) across the entire pricing lifecycle including initial pricing, promotional pricing, and discounting· Responsible for the review and administration of any price deviations and exceptions· Develop standard List price books, with regional variations· Devise discount approval matrix & automated workflow to help streamline discount approval process· Align & ensure control processes to maintain pricing across CRM (salesforce) & Core ERP (NetSuite) systems for new, existing & retired products· Document & communicate pricing process· Support sales team with pricing proposals / RFPs etc· Consolidate historical trends into an accessible repository for key stakeholders to review to draw insights into developing data driven pricing recommendations· Ad Hoc pricing as required Requirements:· Strong quantitative and analytical skills (preference for mathematics, economics, commercial, finance background)· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively articulate insights and recommended actions· Pricing experience preferable· Self-starter, ability to work on own and as part of a team· Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience working with and supporting sales teams· Research skills to pull information from internal and external sources, and also perform ad hoc analysis using the appropriate statistical technique.· Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and have working experience with CRM/ERP tools· Willingness to learn with an analytical mindset, comfortable with working with large datasets to help identify trends, develop business insights, suggest improved practices
