Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to join the Finance team for Musgrave Retail Stores.
The role will be heavily involved in the budgeting, planning and forecasting of the business.
It will also provide commercial and strategic support to the business and provide dedicated finance support on various projects happening within the Business.
The role will be both structured and varied delivering to MRS's changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including group submissions
* Development of robust financial models to support annual budgeting & quarterly forecasting agendas
* Actively contributes to the insight & clarity provided by the finance team around recent retail performance from both a sales & margin perspective.
Key Member of a Regional Business Unit
That focuses on driving store profitability.
Work closely with our Retail stores to support the agenda of driving profitability in each & every store.
Acts as Finance Support for Store Development and Business transformation Projects
Works with the wider support office team to ensure alignment on the Finance objectives, budgets and targets
Provides relevant and insightful information and analysis to key stakeholders around all KPIs
Builds and maintain cross functional relationships with other support functions and with the Stores providing support on new and improved ways to drive improvement and profit for the MRS business
Work closely with the Musgrave Business Services retail team ensuring that all KPI reporting is in line with agreed SLAs
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* A minimum of 3 years PQE
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships
* Good organisational and time management skills
* High attention to detail
* Excellent analytical mindset and highly numeric
* Ability to drive change in the work environment
