Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Commercial Manager to take the lead in overseeing the financial and contractual success of large-scale construction projects. You’ll be at the forefront of cost control, contract negotiations, and strategic management, playing a key role in shaping the future of Ireland’s real estate industry. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all commercial aspects of construction projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration.
* Drive value for money through strategic procurement and supplier negotiations.
* Manage financial forecasting, cost reporting, and cash flow to keep projects on track.
* Provide expert commercial advice, identifying opportunities and risks to maximize project profitability.
* Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes, ensuring smooth project delivery.
* Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, fostering growth and innovation.
* Champion continuous improvement within the commercial team and drive best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing large-scale projects or working with Tier 1 contractors.
* Strong expertise in construction contracts, procurement, and financial management.
* Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple high-value projects.
* Full clean driving license.
