Maintenance Manager
The role requires a professional to lead the engineering department on site, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a structured maintenance program for machinery, tooling, and utilities.
* Establish and manage training programs for Maintenance/Electrical Engineers and Apprentices.
* SUPPORT THE ROLL-OUT OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
* Monitor and address key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly.
* Provide technical support and maintain the site's facilities.
* Identify opportunities to improve machine availability and efficiency.
* Ensure the continuous operation of factory utility systems.
* Manage capital investment programs within the engineering function.
* Oversee operating expense budgets and inventory management.
* FOLLOW COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND ENSURE HEALTH & SAFETY PRACTICES ARE FOLLOWED.
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor workplace activities for Maintenance/Electrical engineers and apprentices.
Requirements:
* Engineering Qualification.
* At least 3 years of experience managing an Engineering/Maintenance department.
* Strong people management skills.
* Lean manufacturing experience.
