About You and this Role
As a Specialist, Global Digital Marketing, you will join the Global Demand Generation team responsible for developing our demand program strategy to generate awareness and lead pipeline across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. If you aren’t afraid of a challenge, we’d love to help you make an impact on Liferay’s goals.
In this role, you will contribute to marketing success by becoming THE digital marketing champion for SEM.
You will be responsible for developing and managing all SEA campaigns with the primary goal of maximizing the ROI. To ensure seamless execution and optimization, you will work closely with an external agency. You will also partner with field marketing teams across the globe to enhance regional campaign performance by sharing best practices and collaborating on data-driven insights.
The successful candidate will know SEA best practices, have strong project management skills, and have a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives while managing the expectations of various stakeholders across the organization.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities
SEA
1. Coordinate all SEA campaigns with our third-party agency, and ensure optimization
2. Together with our global campaigns team, design and execute high-performing SEA campaigns to promote global efforts
3. Work closely with our design and web teams to create the required assets, from banners to high-converting landing pages
4. Coordinate localization requests and reviews for non-English speaking regions to ensure timely deliverability of landing pages, keywords, and ad copies
5. Act as a subject matter expert for field marketing teams, providing guidance on localizing campaigns, including best practices for keyword research
6. Research and analyze competitor advertising strategies and stay on top of market and industry trends to uncover opportunities for growth and innovation
Performance Tracking & Reporting
1. Work with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to ensure proper tracking of our digital marketing efforts
2. Regularly report on and analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and measuring progress against established goals (CTR, CPC, CPA, number of Form Fills & Qualified Meetings, and other KPIs)
Required Qualifications
1. Degree in marketing, communications, or comparable education
2. 3/5 years of experience in digital marketing; at least 3 years of experience in SEM
3. Proven experience with Google Adwords and Google Display Network
4. Proven experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
5. Strong native-level English writing skills to develop ad and landing page copies
6. Ability to think analytically and to use a data-driven approach
7. Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
8. Self-starter, quick learner, self-motivated, and proactive

Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo ideally) and Salesforce CRM
