Senior Project Manager (Residential Development) Location: Dublin 8 Salary: Competitive, based on experience, - Profit Share Scheme About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead a dynamic site team on a large-scale, 1000-unit residential development in Dublin 8.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage a high-profile project from inception through to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of this new apartment development, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the construction project from pre-construction through to final delivery.
Oversee all aspects of the development, including design, planning, procurement, and construction processes.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of key milestones.
Monitor and report on project budgets, cost management, and resource allocation.
Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site, acting as the main point of contact for the client and the project team.
Regularly update the senior management team on progress, risks, and potential delays.
Manage site operations, including supervising and mentoring junior project staff and contractors.
Ensure that all project documentation, reports, and records are maintained accurately and up to date.
Key Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years experience in project management, with a proven track record in delivering large residential developments.
Strong understanding of construction processes, from pre-construction to project completion.
Previous experience managing complex multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation, building regulations, and quality control processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Chartered status (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or similar) is desirable but not essential.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
