We now wish to recruit an E&I Engineer to work on site supporting capital projects. The Electrical / Instrument Engineer will be working as part of a multidiscipline project engineering team on site. Previous E&I design and construction support experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry is advantageous, and experience with chillers/freezers is critical. Responsibilities Oversee electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget constraints Develop electrical schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and control system designs for required systems Lead the installation, testing, and validation of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA regulations Provide technical support for existing equipment, identifying and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues Maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and change control records Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, automation specialists, and quality assurance teams Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure project deliverables meet industry standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry Proven expertise in chiller and freezer systems, including temperature control, monitoring, and automation Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU regulatory requirements Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills #LI-AM2
