As National Account Executive, you will manage and grow wine sales across the off-trade industry in Ireland. You will develop strong relationships with key accounts, implement sales strategies, and analyse customer sales data to identify opportunities for growth. Your role will combine strategic planning with hands-on account management, making a tangible impact on the success of our brands in the Irish market.
This role offers a salary of c€42,000, alongside a generous bonus scheme, car allowance and benefits package, including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off, opportunities for career progression, and much more!
A driving licence and car will be required for this position due to regular travel for client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage relationships with national retail chains and distribution partners.
Act as the primary contact for designated accounts, conducting regular in-person meetings.
Collaborate with the sales team and customers to execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and distribution drives.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the off-trade sectors.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform and refine sales strategies.
Assist in managing account budgets and the tender process, ensuring profitability and performance targets are met.
Skills & Experience:
Previous sales experience in a branded environment with a focus on key performance targets.
Strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Confident in analysing sales data and using tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Energetic and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
An interest in wine or the drinks industry is advantageous but not essential.
