Embrace currently have an exciting opportunity for a Person in Charge (PIC) for our Adults Residential Homes in Navan, Co. Meath. Embrace provides residential support services for adults and children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and acquired brain injuries. The successful candidate will join a growing company and be overseen by a supportive management team. We are seeking applications from existing Persons in Charge (PICs) or experienced Team Leaders / Social Care Workers ready to take the next step in their career; the successful candidate should have a passion for supporting adults and children in the community and helping them to develop in their new homes. As a Person in Charge, you will be responsible for the overall management of two residential houses in Navan, Co. Meath. The overall objective of the role is to ensure that the quality of service and quality of care is always to the highest possible standard whilst adhering to regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for providing leadership and management to the team ensuring that our vision and values are understood and acted upon. Requirements· Must hold a Level 7 Degree in Social Care OR a Nursing Degree (be registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)).· Must have a minimum of three years of Managerial Experience within the Health or Social Care Sector.· Must hold a recognized Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).· Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level.· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.· Excited by the opportunity to work with a team and develop a new, leading residential support service.
