Join our Payments & Commerce Solutions Business Management Team as a Vice President, where you will have the opportunity to develop and manage key Merchant Acquiring initiatives.
As a Business Manager (BM) for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Payments & Commerce Solutions (P&CS) business you will optimize business performance by helping drive key initiatives. BMs act as trusted advisors and counterweights to business leads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. We play a core role in interpreting and presenting financial information to the P&CS business. In this role you will work with business leads responsible for the Merchant Acquiring business helping them to understand their financial performance and drivers and advise on how best to execute on strategic and tactical goals.
Job responsibilities
1. Support the EMEA Merchant Acquiring business leads through strategy development, financial analysis and expense management process
2. Lead production of monthly/quarterly financial and performance reviews, including actuals versus plan and variance analysis
3. Be the key point of contact for front office and support functions to help achieve business objectives
4. Create senior management presentations and financial performance reports
5. Partner with the business to develop key performance metrics tied to our transformation and effectively communicate the benefits linked to these efforts
6. Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls
7. Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework
8. Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions
9. Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Experience across the Merchant Acquiring/Card Payments space
11. Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
12. High Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
13. Flexible in working style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
14. Strong analytical and problem solving skills capable of analysing large data sets and presenting conclusions concisely
