Senior Governance & Compliance Manager
This is a Senior Governance & Compliance Manager role, based in Dublin. The position involves working with Financial Services activities to promote a culture of compliance.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote a culture of compliance within Financial Services activities.
2. Participate in 2LOD Compliance Risk Governance Committees and attend relevant 1LOD Governance Committees.
3. Assist in creating and implementing comprehensive Compliance Policies.
4. Review and update existing Compliance Policies to reflect new or amended Regulatory Requirements/Standards.
5. Help develop an annual risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan.
6. Engage with Regulators regarding the Compliance Risk Framework, Policies, new Regulations etc.
7. Ensure all current and emerging compliance obligations are identified and integrated into new and updated Compliance Policies.
8. Monitor, identify, advise on, and communicate the impacts of upcoming regulatory changes.
9. Consult with Legal on Compliance matters as needed.
10. Develop and deliver a Compliance Training Programme.
Essential Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a Compliance/Risk/Audit function in Finance or Insurance.
2. Professional Compliance qualification or relevant degree.
3. Experience working within a 3LOD Risk Management model.
4. Strong understanding of current and emerging compliance risks, with practical experience in leading an effective control environment and the ability to benchmark and analyze various compliance risks.
5. Strong analytical and communication skills.
