The Public/Healthcare sector is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manager for their site in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
This is a contract position initially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT development programs.
* Manage the performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical and electrical services.
* Participate in and manage new development projects.
* Develop annual building and maintenance plans, including capital expenditures, energy management, and other relevant initiatives.
* Ensure that contracts are managed in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures, as well as construction regulations.
* Chair meetings and committees as required.
* Prepare reports, estimates, specifications, and drawings as necessary.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and fire safety evaluations.
* Develop budgetary plans for infrastructural works, procurement, and purchasing of materials.
Requirements:
* A 3rd Level or Apprenticeship qualification in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade, Engineering, Surveying, Facilities Management, or Chartered Surveyors.
* At least 7 years of experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings.
* Experience in managing operational budgets.
* Management experience of multidisciplinary trades and technical teams.
* Experience in implementing Planned Maintenance programs.
* Experience working with building service systems, technologies, such as UPS units, AHU's, and water treatment systems.
* A valid Safe Pass or equivalent certification.
