Job Title: Instructor (Senior Grade) / Day Service Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a specified purpose contract position as Instructor (Senior Grade) / Day Service Coordinator in our Limerick Community Services.

The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, Limerick Region, is a leading provider of services for people with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* At least 4 years experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis.
* Level 8 qualification in Teaching, Training and Development, Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Psychology or other relevant qualification.
* Working knowledge of New Directions Framework (HSE).
* Experience in leading a team of staff in the development and implementation of person-centred planning framework.
* Experience of working with individuals with Autism and supporting the delivery of service to people who may display behaviours of concern.
* Experience in risk management.
* Experience in liaising with MDT teams, families and external agencies.
* Supervisory ability and capability in the management of staff and people supported by the services.
* Ability to assist in service planning.
Key Responsibilities
* To lead a team of staff in the development and implementation of person-centred planning frameworks.
* To work closely with individuals with Autism and support the delivery of service to people who may display behaviours of concern.
* To manage risk and ensure the safety of staff and service users.
* To liaise with MDT teams, families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements
* A Level 8 qualification in Teaching, Training and Development, Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Psychology or other relevant qualification.
* Working knowledge of New Directions Framework (HSE).
* Full Clean Drivers Licence.
* Knowledge of HIQA Standards and Regulations.
