MACE Model Farm Road, Bishopstown, Co. Cork requires a Full Time Supervisor to join their team.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times.
2. Delegate and communicate effectively with the sales team.
3. Supervise the effective induction and training of employees.
4. Assist the store manager in the effective management of sales team performance.
Customer Care:
1. Ensure customers receive high quality and consistent service at all times.
2. Deal with and rectify customer complaints in an effective and pleasant manner.
3. Proactively take necessary action in store improvements following customer complaints.
Operations:
1. Ensure store is merchandised in a customer-friendly and competitive manner ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
2. Maximise sales and margin while minimising waste.
3. Maintain housekeeping in the store at an optimum level.
4. Ensure adherence to the appropriate cash register and cash handling policy.
5. Ensure shelf edged labels are updated on a weekly basis.
Stock Management:
1. Order stock.
2. Assist the manager in preparations for stock take and supervise where appropriate.
3. Assist the manager in minimising stock loss through wastage, damages, and pilferage.
4. Ensure food management and waste systems are adhered to by deli sales team.
5. Check stock to ensure adequate stock is available for customers’ needs.
6. Ensure stock is rotated appropriately to minimise waste through out of date stock.
Legislation & Security:
1. Ensure secure opening and closing procedures with the store manager.
2. Identify and reduce potential hazards in the store or where possible remove/eliminate them.
3. Work with Store Manager to ensure Health & Safety checks are conducted and actioned accordingly.
