Operations Manager Job Description
Full-Time Permanent (40 hours per week)
Carlow, with frequent travel to other sites
Job Summary:
As an Operations Manager at our esteemed client, National Retailer of the Year by Retail Excellence Ireland, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a large team across multiple locations, and enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to annual budgeting and manage specific areas within the profit and loss statement.
* Implement pricing policies, oversee sales promotions, and ensure effective loss prevention measures.
* Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards and store policies.
* Oversee staff deployment, building maintenance, and facility management.
* Enhance customer experience through events and loyalty programs.
* Collaborate with the Warehouse, EPOS, Finance, and Marketing teams.
* Lead, coach, and develop managers, supporting recruitment and training initiatives.
* Monitor sales performance, margins, and stock turnover.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store environment.
Key Tasks:
* Report quarterly on commercial performance and action plans.
* Optimize staffing levels to balance customer service and operational budgets.
* Analyze key performance indicators with managers and drive performance improvements.
* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
* Provide weekly performance updates to directors.
