Job Title: Research Officer (Education)
Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research professional to contribute to evidence-based decision-making within a high-profile environment.
The Role: As a Research Officer, you will play a key role in providing impartial, high-quality research and analysis to inform policy development and legislative scrutiny.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver timely, accurate, and objective research to inform policy decisions.
2. Analyse and synthesise information from diverse sources, including regional and international databases.
3. Produce and present research papers, briefings, and data visualisations to committees and stakeholders.
4. Provide research support for legislative scrutiny, including bill research and impact assessments.
5. Engage with external research bodies and contribute to knowledge exchange initiatives.
6. Support training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing within the organisation.
Requirements:
• Holds at least a 2:1 honours degree (or postgraduate qualification) with 50%+ content related to Education policy.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting evidence-based research and delivering findings to support policy discussions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple research projects.
