Senior Azure Cloud Architect Role
As a Senior Azure Cloud Architect, you'll work within Technology & Digital Consulting to mentor and guide a team of problem solvers.
Responsibilities:
* Lead technical teams participating in multiple concurrent cloud focused projects for our clients.
* Gathering and assessing client requirements, and translating these into solution requirements and design.
* Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and propose cloud based solutions to existing and potential clients.
* Develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimise clients' cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost models.
* Manage and grow a collection of new and existing client relationships.
* Offer technical and go to market leadership focused on asset driven cloud based solutions and services.
* Build and nurture a highly skilled cloud engineering team.
* Provide coaching and foster an environment where technical professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years experience in the field of cloud computing.
* Certifications from one or more key cloud providers e.g. Azure Solutions Architect.
* Knowledge of high availability architecture and cost optimisation.
* Experience leading high performing teams in the creation of 'cloud first' technology solutions.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate the rationale behind architectural decisions to a broad set of stakeholders.
