Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Chef to assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of our kitchen. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring high culinary standards are met.
* Purchasing and storing food in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
* Ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained regularly.
* Collaborating with the Head Chef to create new menus and recipes.
* Supervising junior chefs and providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Chef in a hotel or restaurant setting.
* Ability to multitask and remain organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
* Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (desirable).
