The Role:
IMR is seeking a Marketing Manager who will have responsibility for designing and implementing the Marketing plan for IMR. You will be responsible for managing a dynamic, fun, fast-paced team that will support you through the campaigns, events and research dissemination the organisation is committed to. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to execute and ensure all Marketing activities are coordinated efficiently and to a consistent high standard.
Experience in developing a marketing strategy and implementing a delivery plan is essential, both in terms of an integrated approach to the overall brand, as well as addressing the different needs of each research area. Previous hands-on experience in creating customer-centric Marketing campaigns is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
* Marketing Planning and Execution
o Develop and implement a concise marketing and communications plan across research areas
o Create and implement marketing campaigns that support IMR’s commercial goals and enhance IMR’s brand and offerings
o Measure the impact of marketing activities and adjust the plan as necessary
o Ensure quality assurance is applied and maintained throughout all marketing activities
* People
o Create and contribute to a positive work environment aligned to IMR’s culture and values
o Lead, inspire and develop the Marketing team to foster strong collaboration and commitment to the organisation
o Support the Marketing team and other relevant roles in developing their digital marketing skillset to promote all IMR activities
* Brand
o Accountable for all brand assets and positioning including visual identity, adherence and consistency, key messaging, creative expression and other factors that develop and build brand equity
o Ensure IMR branding is visible across all joint ventures or consortiums
* Digital Marketing
o Display a comprehensive firsthand understanding of social and digital channels, including web presence, quality content optimised for SEO and customer journey
o Implement marketing automation and analytical tools that support campaign delivery, lead generation and conversion
o Maximise the use of digital campaigns, identify opportunities where digital can replace or supplement other tactics
o Manage digital assets to ensure consistency of application across the organisation
* Communication, events & PR
o Ensure that internal and external communications are aligned to the marketing plan and to IMR’s marketing strategy
o Support the team in organising high-quality events, workshops, seminars and conferences to maximise ROI and IMR’s brand equity
o Develop a PR action-plan to promote IMR’s key developments
* Stakeholder Engagement
o Build close relationships with all areas of IMR to become a trusted partner
o Demonstrate excellent briefing and response skills
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Degree in Marketing, Communication & Dissemination or Management
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Marketing leadership role, managing a Marketing team
* Minimum 5 years hands-on experience designing and executing a Marketing plan with multi-channel Marketing campaigns
* Experience in implementing and using Marketing automation tools
* Gets things done, executing efficiently with an eye for detail and continuous improvement
* Process driven with a commitment to setting best practices
* Demonstrate a customer-centric commercial mindset
* Team-player with demonstrated ability to lead and manage direct reports
* Demonstrated agility and the ability to handle different projects
* Good communicator with influencing and motivational skills
Location:
IMR offices are situated in Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Mullingar, Co Westmeath. The role will be based in our Rathcoole office. We offer a flexible hybrid working model to suit the successful candidate. Travel between offices and client sites will be required from time to time.
Salary & Benefits:
This position will command a package consisting of basic salary (79K – 88K depending on experience and qualifications), employer pension contribution and 5 weeks holidays.
