Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our operations team in Dublin. The role involves supporting cloud services, ensuring system reliability, and working on deployment and monitoring tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in cloud environments while working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services.
2. Monitor system performance, ensuring availability and integrity of key processes.
3. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud services.
4. Develop and optimize scripts for automation, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
5. Collaborate with global teams to enhance cloud service stability and security.
6. Participate in on-call support to ensure continuous service operations.
7. Assist in capacity planning, incident management, and service reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Experience working in a Linux-based environment (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, etc.).
3. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
4. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
7. Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role would be a plus.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
2. Exposure to ITIL framework, DevOps environments, or cybersecurity standards.
3. Additional language skills in Chinese or EU Languages are a plus but not required.
