Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive, dedicated shift team leader, who will guide individuals towards achieving company goals whilst promoting safety first and quality always through positive engagement and team culture. You will cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and effective leadership through open two-way communication, while equipping team members with the necessary tools for success across all areas of the manufacturing operations to ensure on-time in full deliveries to our customers.

· Turnover for the Plant: €30Mil
· Process: Printing, Pouching, Venting, Lidding & Trays
· Complexity: Interaction with internal departments
· Staff: 20-25 on shift across operations & warehousing
Principal Accountabilities
1. Supporting the organisation with the management of the safety performance & culture of the plant.
2. Collaborate with the Quality team by ensuring your team follows all quality standards.
3. Lead and manage a team of production operatives, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
4. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
5. Clearly & effectively communicate the company's vision, goals, and expectations to the production team.
6. Ensure application and enforcement of all company policies and procedures within your team.
7. Manage comprehensive training sessions for production operatives, ensuring they acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to proficiently navigate and execute the assigned manufacturing processes.
8. 5Es: Empower, enable, engage, entrust, and encourage team members.
9. Maintain accurate records for training, health & safety & disciplinary issues as they arise.
10. Manage housekeeping in the areas of operations to ensure a clean and orderly manner by guiding good 6s housekeeping.
11. Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to manufacturing processes by allocating resources.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production activities with overall business objectives.
13. Lead the manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Provide this feedback to cross-functional teams.
14. Ensure that all production activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, industry codes, and safety guidelines, promoting a strong safety culture within the production team and across the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
Formal Qualifications And Experience:
1. Secondary School Education.
2. At least 3 years of leadership experience.
3. Lead by example and set a good standard for your co-workers.
4. A mechanical aptitude with excellent dexterity skills.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
8. Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills to address manufacturing challenges, optimize processes, and resolve issues that may arise during product manufacturing.
9. A good degree of computer literacy and good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications.

2. Ability to manage and coordinate several operation lines simultaneously.
3. Experience with 6s methodologies and a commitment to drive cleanliness to enhance product quality.
