Join us to make impactful contributions in a collaborative environment where your expertise will drive the future of our AI-enabled applications across hybrid cloud environments.
What you will do
1. Contribute to the architecture, design and testing of the RHOAI platform, ensuring alignment with user experience goals.
2. Innovate in the MLOps and AI application development domains by actively participating in upstream communities, sharing insights, and integrating best practices.
3. Ensure that functional requirements are met, focusing on delivering a robust and user-friendly experience.
4. Practice “testing like a customer” (for Data Scientist and OpenShift Admin personas) by simulating real-world MLOps user experiences, using RHOAI features, especially multiple features in combination.
5. Perform usability tests, collaborating closely with software engineers to validate product quality and ensure seamless user interactions.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing recommendations and technical knowledge with team members, contributing to a collaborative environment.
7. Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to analyze and clarify business requirements, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of development efforts.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to provide proper visibility into quality efforts and progress including following up on outstanding issues that impact users.
9. Conduct thoughtful and prompt code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and enhance the overall user experience.
10. Contribute to automation testing based on findings from exploratory testing of user-impacting issues.
What you will bring
1. Experience testing applications in Go or Python, or other language.
2. Experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift or other cloud-native technologies.
3. Experience in usability testing or User Experience Design (UXD).
4. Ability to quickly learn and use new tools and technologies.
5. Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
6. Good system understanding and troubleshooting capabilities.
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

10. Knowledge of the AI and machine learning landscape, including open source communities, GPUs and software vendors.
11. Understanding of core MLOps concepts.
The following will be considered a plus:
