Perform Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join a logistics company based in Drogheda, Co.Louth.
Key Duties:
1. Strategically schedule daily and weekly operations to optimize resource utilization.
2. Coordinate transport logistics across Ireland, the UK, and continental Europe.
3. Develop efficient route plans for drivers and oversee order fulfilment.
4. Maintain meticulous records of Proof of Delivery (POD) and other relevant documentation.
5. Foster seamless communication with internal teams, drivers, and external stakeholders to uphold service standards and meet customer expectations.
6. Interface with clients, subcontractors, and international counterparts to facilitate smooth operations.
7. Adapt swiftly to evolving customer needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
8. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to grasp their specific requirements.
9. Execute administrative tasks diligently, adhering to established protocols.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of five years' experience in a comparable capacity.
2. Strong communication prowess coupled with adept IT proficiency.
3. Fluency in both written and verbal English.
4. Comprehensive understanding of driving regulations and protocols.
