We are currently seeking a highly motivated Day Service Coordinator to join our team in CHO6 Adult Services, currently located in Dun Laoghaire.
Contract Hours: 17.5 hours per week.
Salary Scale: €46,160 - €55,855 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post:
The Coordinator will be responsible for leading the effective development and delivery of the day service using a person-centred approach and in line with New Directions. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team in delivering quality standards of care and support to adults with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities.

The successful candidate will have:
* Third level qualification in Social Care, Nursing or equivalent.
* Third level qualification in business or management.
* Registration with governing/professional body as relevant.
* Knowledge and experience of working in the disability sector.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities.
* Management/coordination experience including managing people and staff support and supervision.
* Experience of a high degree of professional autonomy in relation to the key areas of administration.
* Experience in delivering services within the social model of care.
* Experience of individual case management, care plans, monitoring, and evaluation.
* Experience of supervising staff.
* Eligible to work in the State.
* Experience of working with behaviours of concern.
* Experience in community-based services/programmes.
