Job Description
VANRATH have partnered exclusively with our client in their search for a proactive, hands-on IT Support Technician with 2+ years' experience to support their IT infrastructure and ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
* Manage help desk requests, providing efficient technical support to employees.
* Assist staff with system setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network faults.
* Conduct regular system health checks and address security or usability concerns.
* Monitor and deploy system patches, updates, and security fixes to maintain a secure IT environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar IT support role.
* Proficiency with Active Directory/Entra, Office 365, and Windows Servers.
* Hands-on experience in patch management and antivirus updates.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
* Solid understanding of networking principles.
