This job description is for a dedicated and organised full-time or part-time Family Law Legal Executive/ Legal Secretary to join Carol McGuinness Family Law Solicitors.Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to a sole practitioner in a fast-paced legal environment.Manage and organise legal documents, including drafting correspondence.Dictation typing.Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings with counsel.Communicate with clients, courts, and other law offices on behalf of the solicitor.Maintain and update case files and databases.Assist in case preparation of Booklets of Pleading and Booklet of Vouching.Photocopying.Assist in billing and invoicing processes.Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.Requirements:Proven experience as a legal executive/ legal secretary, preferably in family law.Proficiency in legal document preparation and court procedures in family law.Strong organisational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of attention to detail in reviewing documents and correspondence.Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using a case management system.Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures in family law.Experience is essential.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAdministrative, Legal, and General BusinessIndustriesLaw Practice
