Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator Employment Type: Permanent Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo / Hybrid Salary: €60,000 - €1000,000 Company Description We are a specialist MEP Estimating firm, with offices in both Dublin and Galway.
Established in 2018 we are a young dynamic company, leveraging our expertise, and young team, on the latest estimating software to deliver exception quality output.
Duties & Responsibilities: Tendering on a variety of projects primarily pharmaceutical, data centres, high tech manufacturing & healthcare.
Involvement in full tender process from start to appointment.
Attending pre and post tender interviews.
Assemble sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.
Attend meetings both internal and client based where required.
Completing take-offs from tender drawings.
Assessing the labour required to complete each project.
Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.
Leading & developing a team of estimators This role will provide exposure to a wide range of highly complex projects.
The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Desirable Criteria: FETAC Level 6 Certificate; or Degree Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Trade background would be extremely advantageous.
Experience in pharmaceutical or data centre projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
