Job Title
Cost Planner (Senior) | Executive Package
* Prepare cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning ready for handover to project team.
* Participate in design team meetings offering cost advice to ensure the financial viability of the project without compromising the design.
* Liaise with project delivery teams ensuring construction budgets for upcoming developments are robust.
* Interrogate current project exit costs to inform new projects.
* Develop and maintain a databank of construction costs for ongoing Cost Estimation and Financial Appraisal.
* Prepare Part V applications to Local Authorities and follow submissions to achieve compliance.
* Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
About the Role
This is a senior commercial professional role with quantity surveying, estimating skills. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of quantity surveying services under the direction of senior management undertaking pre-contract duties.
The role involves interpreting information from live and completed projects, measuring planned works, and contributing to decision-making processes driving key project decisions at various stages through acquisition and design development.
