Health & Safety Officer
Detailed Job Requirements:
The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Carrying out inductions and other site-specific training packages.
* Implementation and enforcing of daily and weekly EHS programmes.
* Assisting Site Management with all aspects of the day to day co-ordinating of site activities.
* Conducting weekly audits.
* Reviewing EHS documentation.
* Maintaining the site records.
About the Role:
This is a leading national main contractor and Tier 1 residential developer seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to work on new build, refurbishment, fitout, civil engineering, and pharma projects up to €150 million.
Requirements:
* A recognised Safety qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
* A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
* An enthusiastic and driven individual.
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be based at our head or site office in North and West Dublin and required to travel throughout Meath, Louth area for site visits and inspections.
