Mechanical design engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Louth We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialist team operating within high speed cutting edge manufacturing based in Louth Responsibilities Oversee projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead the design and development of automated equipment Design mechatronic systems, including mechanisms, robotics, pneumatics, electrical components and servo systems.
Create 3D and 2D designs using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor Select and specify components, perform engineering calculations, and optimize designs.
Prepare and manage technical documentation, including risk assessments and FMEAs.
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
Contribute to continuous improvement across the business and engineering processes.
Qualifications 8 years previous experience with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven expertise in mechanical design, engineering sign-off, installation, and commissioning.
Strong SolidWorks skills Experience in automation and mechatronic equipment development is a plus.
Ability to lead a mechatronic design team and manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong knowledge of risk assessments and FMEAs.
Full driver's license required.
