Overview
Level 2 Systems Administrator
Due to continued expansion of eir evo, we are seeking to recruit a Level 2 System Administrator that will become an important part of the team in an evolving and exciting environment. eir evo offers unrivalled delivery in the design, supply, implementation, and support of organisations’ IT infrastructure with over employees operating out of offices in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, and Auckland.
The successful candidate will work on and receive exposure to different technologies, including Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud (Azure), as well as the latest Microsoft applications and solutions. This is a hybrid working role and will involve working on the customer site and remotely.
Required Skills
1. Working in a growing remote dedicated customer multi-technology Service Desk team with procedures based on ITIL Framework and governed by ISO
2. Ensuring adherence to critical SLAs at all times
3. Remote desktop support for end users of varying skill levels
4. Hardware troubleshooting
5. Manage File Permissions and Access Rights
6. Microsoft Azure Administration – Azure Active Directory Users and Groups
7. Active Directory Domain Services
8. Microsoft Administration – Intune, deploying and troubleshooting applications management
9. Managing Microsoft Apps via the Admin Centre (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Security, etc)
10. Managing Azure Virtual Machines and Conditional Access Policies, Azure Files
11. Integrating third party applications in Azure Application Registrations and Enterprise Apps
12. Configuration and Support of Mobile Devices
13. Maintain, build and contribute to documentation
14. Level 2 fault finding with escalation to Third line and external 3rd parties when required
15. Extensive communication and interaction with other teams and peers to ensure customer gets prompt outcome
Beneficial Skills and Experience
1. 3 years working in a Technical support environment
2. MS Office Support – 2nd Level
3. Office experience advantageous

7. Microsoft Specialist Certification in Windows Desktop Support
